"The Karting experience started back down at Kirkcaldy in 1998 and it wasn't long before I bought my first Kart of a Local Dealer.

I bought a new Trulli JT1 Rotax Max outfit, at that time, Rotax was a new class to the UK and gathering numbers fast.

My first year in Max (1999), I managed 2nd in the Grampian Kart Club Championship.

2000 was a busy year, however a second place in the World Corporate Games and a second place in the Club Championship were highlights.

2001 started with a new JT2 chassis, new Mk2 Rotax engine, and Super One qualifier down at 3 sisters.  The travelling continued, with an appearance at the Kartmasters later in the year, and the year ended with 3rd in the Club Championship.

2002 was a quieter year, just sticking to the local clubs.

2003 was the year both Chris and Myself got the Venox, with multiple races at Crail and Rowrah,  the venox was an improvement over the Trulli.

A Mk3 engine was bought for 2004, however traffic was the problem this year. With front running lap times in practice, I struggled to pass people in races.  The Gold Cup was the high point, however two months later back at Wigan, a wet Rotax cup was the low point.

I'm looking forward to racing in 2006, and hope the consistent top 10 results continue."
